It’s almost here!! The 2023 LBI Fly International Kite Festival is about to take flight

Got Questions??…..here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding this year’s festival.

What happens if it rains? Our plan is to do what we can not to cancel, as some kites can still fly in light rain. Our extremely knowledgeable Kiter Coordinator will make the call “Day Of” depending on wind, weather and safety conditions. Keep an eye out on our social media for updates.

Is the Festival Dog-Friendly? Yes, leashed dogs are allowed on the beaches in October….just remember your poop bags. 😉

Is there a cost to attend? Only Friday evening’s Indoor Fly (6:30-9 pm) at the LBI School and the Night Fly Extravaganza, Saturday 6:30-8:30 pm 68th Street Beach LBT both request a $3/per person suggested donation.
